The meaning of Hiraya

and how it inspires everything we do

Hiraya is an ancient Filipino word that translates to "the fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations", or "the power of the mind to create something which is non-existent". Hold this close to our hearts in every aspect of our branding work as we help you define the foundations of your branding. There is an old saying: "Hiraya Manawari" which figuratively means 'reach your dreams', and that's exactly what we're here to help you do!

Alex

brand & Web designer, Videographer

Alex has worn many hats over the years. Originally chasing a Computer Science Degree at the University of Guelph, he switched into the Studio Art program once Ariana started her career as a photographer. Specializing in photography and design, he quickly realized his artistic passions could extend to helping establish their brands. With 7 years experience as a designer, Alex provides our clients with logos, websites, and branding videos.

Ariana

brand strategist, photographer

Ariana is the one who started Hiraya on its original path, even before we knew it. She's always had a passion for photography and uplifting people through her art. What started with a small business providing family, weddings, and graduation photos, she's helped pave the way for us to become a creative agency that helps business reach their dreams.

Arielle

illustrator

Arielle is our resident illustrator and artist (and Ariana's sister!). She specializes in contributing a handcrafted and unique touch for our logo and design work. She is currently a student at OCAD University studying industrial design. If your branding project requires a boutique and personalized feel, Arielle has got you covered!
